Tim began his coaching journey in 2022 and has developed into a dedicated and knowledgeable swim coach. He has worked with two clubs, most notably the Monbulk Marlins, where he took on head coach duties. This experience has given him valuable insight into managing training programs, supporting swimmers across different levels, and fostering a positive club environment.

Before stepping into coaching, Tim worked as a swim school teacher at Boronia and Monbulk for a year. During this time, he developed strong teaching skills, working with swimmers of all ages to build confidence and technique in the water. His background as a swim teacher gave him a strong foundation in communication and swimmer development, which he now carries into his coaching.

Tim also brings his own competitive swimming experience to his role. He trained and competed with the Monbulk Marlins for five years, specialising in all four strokes and reaching Metro Level competition by the age of 16. This personal experience as an athlete helps him connect with swimmers, understand their challenges, and guide them in setting and achieving their goals.

Tim is passionate about creating a supportive and motivating environment for swimmers. He strives to help every swimmer improve their skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy their journey in the sport.
